Picasa Picture Viewer

Picasa is an excellent picture organizer/viewer/editor. It will automatically run a scan on your computer and find any and all pictures you might have saved and arrange them in chronological order based on when they were taken or when they were last modified. Also, there are some really slick features to edit your pictures by removing red-eye, changing saturation and hughes, changing size, and much more. In my opinion, this is a must-have for anyone with lots of digital pictures and of course the best part is it's completely free!

Microsoft AntiSpyware

Just about every computer has some spyware on it. It slows down your machine and in some cases messes up important files or gives out important personal information. Microsoft AntiSpyware takes care of it all. While other antispyware software cannot automatically adjust windows settings in order to remove the spyware, Microsoft AntiSpyware can do what it takes to remove the harful spyware but leaves the rest of your settings unchanged. It is a Beta version so there will be improvements to come, however I have found no better antispyware software than this.

Microsoft Image Resizer

I dont know what I'd do without this. After installing this program you just right click on any picture you have and select, "Resize". You'll have 4 different size options for any of your pictures. This becomes extreamly usefull when you dont want use HUGE pictures in your e-mail attachments or on E-bay listings. Again, its free.

Primo PDF Converter

PDF stands for "Portable Document Format". Keep in mind that not everyone on planet Earth uses Microsoft Word. By converting your Word documents into PDF, any computer that has Adobe Acrobat Reader can view your file. After installing, generate any Microsoft Word document and select print. Rather than printing to a local or networked printer, just select Primo PDF and where you'd like to save your new PDF. It's very simple and usefull not to mention free.

Ace FTP

FTP stands for "File Transfer Protocol". If you have need to post files, pictures, or anything else on any remote server this is the tool you'll want to use. It's almost identical to CuteFTP but this one is easier to use and its free.

Adobe Acrobat Reader

A must have to view any PDF file. If you dont have this by now, consider yourself a bit behind. Get it now. It's free.
